I know I have been quite silent lately. It is not because I had nothing to say, au contraire I had a tremendous line-up of drafts and pictures that were begging me to be posted! However, my priority was to finish the new layout of the blog. The old one didn’t really respond to what I needed and since we have major projects coming up soon, it was the perfect time to change for a better layout and web-solutions. I know it looks more like a magazine than a blog, but we are somewhere in-between– Those who follow us, noticed that we talk more about fashion and arts in Montreal from an introspective point of view than what I wear everyday. I hope you like it. If not, please send me any suggestions/comment that would help me improve the website!

Speaking of what I wore lately, I wanted to share this with you since the end of december and now it’s time! To set you in context, let me ask you this : What do you do when it is very, veeryy cold outside, your feets are freezing in your leather boots and you refuse to buy Uggs because they’re UG-LY ? My solution was a great gift from Designer Daniel Thibeault who kindly sent me a beautiful winter kit from the latest collection of Mezzamorphos.
Mezzamorphos is an urban brand conceived by local creators who aim to bring practical– and environmental-friendly solutions to their customers. Their main products are leg-warmers and scarves with faux-fur hoods.
Each side of the scarves have a different fabric: Tissue and Metal. You will not find any problem wearing them with your coat. I mean if your coat is a trench or an impermeable, you can use the tissue side and vice versa – if your coat is made with tissue, or something that looks like it, you can wear the scarve on the metallic side. Either way, you will have a great contrast with your coat, so all what you have to do is to pick a colour that matches with it.
The leg-wamers are cool too ! What I loved the most about them is how easy they can be put over the shoes shoes – or removed, thanks to the zipper on the side. Now, you can wear short booties at -25 without worrying about your legs getting cold.
