Spring is playing Hide and seek with my nerves – I really, reaaally can’t wait for the weather to warm up. Since yesterday was all about Professional meetings, work and a couture soirée afterwards, I had a hard time finding what to wear. See, the struggle was more about 1) Avoid wearing a dress, it’s too cold outside 2) Avoid wearing dark colours, the sun was too bright, and 3) not be overdressed during the day at meeting and not be under dressed for the Haute-Couture Soirée I was invited to ( one of the best event I attended). Find-an-outfit process went faster when I came across blue oversized pants. This is how I matched them :
Around 5:00 P.M, I took the direction of prestigious McGill University Club where I was about to have an amazing fashion moment. It was all about celebrating Intemporel fashion designers who rocked the industry, de Christian DIOR a Arnold Scaasi. It was amaaazing, I can’t wait to tell you about it. The funniest was when at the end of the soirée, I received this call telling me that my sister was giving birth. Like in a movie, I jumped on the first cab I found, my heels in my hand, and next thing I knew – the last two days were a great adventure.

The backstage experience with great designer Yves Jean Lacasse was amazing, on a fundraising Gala for Sainte-Justine au Coeur du Monde.
All this, while my sister was still giving birth. Thanks God, Baby Driss was born tonight at 8h48 – Yes, I also had to leave the Gala very fast to go the hospital, but this time, my faithful friend gave me a lift. I am reaally happy and proud to be an auntie for the first time.
She is sooo going to kill me when she’ll see I published this picture!
